I chose a best school I had never been to GLV, and I have spent more than half year to enjoy my life with it . My first day at GLV, similar to all of the beginners ,when I saw my schoolmates who were chatting in English and laugh with each other ,I was so jealous, I felt self-abasement, at the same time, I told myself : I would be as good as them one day.
My first teacher was Mable, she had helped me to build up my confidence, she led me into the paradise of English with her patience and wonderful English. The second day at GLV, I tried to talk with her with my poor English, it was amazing, she could understand me, she also knew what I was trying to say and helped me to finish it, at that time I thought, her guesswork and understanding was so great, then I found every teacher of GLV had this special skill, it was proved by my experience...
After two weeks beginner class, Mabel suggested me to move up to elementary class, I was so unhappy that I would leave her class, at that time, I had thought she was the best teacher of GLV. When I joined the elementary class, I found there was another good teacher at GLV, and how lucky I was ,I was at Roger's class. He always used his lively examples to make us to remember the new words well. Two weeks passed very quickly, I tried to teel him that I wanted to stay at his class, however, he told me that I needed to learn from other teachers, that's good for improving my English, finally I had to change it...
I also learned a lot at my third teacher of GLVˇŞShan-tiyan's class, he is the ˇ°alive LeiFengˇą of GLV, he tried to help the people who need help all the time ...then I learned from so many teachers after that, I think you can imagine what I have experienced with the teachers, yes ,I've always got surprise from every teacher. They are different -¨Cthey all have their own teaching system. they also have same points - -they make you feel lucky as their student all the time ...They are all patiently and helpfully, and all of their class are funny...these are the teachers of GLV, I really understand about what is; different and especial...
The evening programs were rich and colorful, all of the CAs always tried their best to let us know more and more about the world. Every night we talked about our tomorrow and hope with what I had learned. Also I made dozen of friends with the "club member"...after whole day's tressful learning, I always felt this was life, wonderful life...
Also I knew ZhuHai, this beautiful and romantic city, from the outings organized by GLV, which were once per two weeks, that made teachers and students more closely, we were not only students or teachers, but also members of GLV family---a beautiful language village...
In fact, at the beginning, the reason of why I had decided to learn English at GLV was I loved English and I needed it for my job in the future, when I was here, I found I learned not only language here, but also the culture of English, the culture of different countries, the culture of life...I have learned what was sharing, what was forgiving and forgetting, everybody's sole, who have been here, became noble...
