        Technology makes communication easier in today’s world. Many people choose to work at home in front of a computer screen. What does the society face depending on computer screen rather than face-to-face contact as the means of communication?

 Nowadays, telecommuting has become a focal point. Numerous investigations showed that more and more people chose to work at home in front of a computer. Before revealing my opinion. I aim to analyze the hot issue from both sides.Advocates of telecommuting hold the belief that telecommuting has some pros. First of all, people can avoid suffering from commuting. Secondly, people’s decreasing can save a huge amount of tax-payer’s hard-earned money which the government always used in public transportation. Thirdly, working at home can maintain a self-space, nobody can annoy you.

      On the other hand, many people feel that telecommuting has numerous cons .First; the person who chooses to work at home lacks lots of experience of face to face communication with others. He /she may create a sense of estrangement and tend to become indifferent to others. Secondly, telecommuting lacks the chance to take part in a team-work. The person will gradually lack of strong team spirit. Besides the person will be obsessed with emotional exchanges with their friends in virtual world.

Personally, I am in favor of the latter view! In my opinion, telecommuting isn’t suitable for almost every person. Firstly, people will be apart themselves from their friends. Gradually, they tend to become more introverted and withdrawn. And, they will often feel isolated and being cut off from the outside world. Then, they will lack of adequate interpersonal skills and become self-centered.

    科技使得现今世界的交流更加的方便快捷。很多人选择在家对着电脑荧屏工作。现代社会如何面对这种依靠电脑荧屏而不是面对面交流的沟通方式呢？

当今，远程办公已经成为一种潮流。众多的调查表明越来越多的人选择在家用电脑办公。在阐明我的观点前，我从两个方面来分析这个热门话题。

提倡者相信远程办公有它的正面作用。首先，人们可以避免无谓的人员交换。其次，人员的减少可以一大笔纳税人的辛苦钱,而这些钱常常是政府用在公共交通上的。最好，在家里工作能有更好的私人空间，没有人可能打扰你。而另一方面，也有很多的人觉得，远程办公有很多的负面因素。首先，选择在家里工作的人会缺乏很多和人面对面交流沟通的经验。他/她也许会产生和别人很容易疏远的感觉或趋向与众不同。其次，远程办公缺乏团队工作的经历。那样，他也就渐渐没有了强烈的团队精神。除此之外。这样的人也会因为现实社会里一些朋友上的原因产生情绪上的困惑。

    我个人还是赞同后一个观点。我的观点是，远程办公不是适合每个人。第一是，人们会因为这样的方式而远离他们的伙伴，同时还会他们也会越来越封闭和性格孤僻。因此，他们会因为孤僻而与这个世界分离。最后。他们因为缺乏人与人之间沟通的基本技能而变得利己而自私！
